Mrs. Tomella Curran

I am mother of two sons, and a grandmother of 4.  I've worked in the Pueblo District 70 for 25 plus years.  I am a Pueblo native and my son and grand kids all live here.  I love being a grandma.  I have worked with children all of my life in one manner or another.  I love working with ESS students and helping them succeed is my greatest goal.

Mrs. Carla Mayfield

I am a mother of 3 boys and have been married for more than 25 years.  I enjoy paper crafts and being outside doing a variety of activities.  Working at Vineland Middle as an ESS teacher is a real pleasure.  Past careers included teaching English for 12 years and working as a newspaper editor.

Ms. Beeman

I have been teaching in District 70 for ten years where I have taught Special Education at the preschool level all the way to the middle school level. I have also been a part of a center-based Autism program. This is my first year at Vineland Middle School.  I have a Liberal Arts degree with an emphasis in Elementary Education from CSU-Pueblo, a Master’s degree in Education specializing in Special Education from CSU-Pueblo and a degree in Early Childhood Special Education from Hannibal LaGrange College. I love to spend time outdoors in the sunshine working in the yard, hanging out with my family or being in the mountains. I also enjoy craft and home improvement projects.

Mr. Richie Perko

Mr. Perko returns to VMS for his 4th year.   He is a coach for the Pirates football team.  He helps organize and runTuff Mudders in his spare time.

Mrs. Tracey Coco

Mrs Coco is new to our building this year.  She comes to us with several years of para pro experience. We are glad to have her on our team.

Mrs. Melody Thomas
Howdy y'all...I am a transplanted Texan who has lived in Colorado for over 25 years.   I came to Vineland Middle to teach  FACS (Home Economics) in 2000 and transferred to the ESS (Special Education) department where I have been the ESS teacher since 2008.

I have been married for more than 25 years and raised three sons.  I have 3 AWESOME grandkids.  In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, taking drives in the mountains, making crafts and collecting antiques. I am looking forward to an exciting year with many new learning experiences in the ESS department.
